Installing Remote Control on a Windows 95/98/Me computer:

 

To have Remote Control with iClose-Up you have to have NetMeeting (version 3.01 or later) installed on both the iClose-Up Client and iClose-Up Server.  You can get NetMeeting (version 3.01 or later) from either Microsoft’s web site (which can be linked to from the Norton-Lambert web site) or from iClose-Up’s CD.  You will not need to learn how to use NetMeeting to use Remote Control.  You only need to install it, to use it with iClose-Up.  Note, if you have Windows Me, NetMeeting version 3.01 or later should already be installed on your computer, you should read Using Remote Control. 

 

To Install Microsoft NetMeeting 3.01 click on the install file for NetMeeting which is named NM30.exe

 

            You will see the following screen:

 

            1.  Now click the Yes button.

 

            2.  Next click Yes to the License Agreement if you agree to it.

            3.  Click OK to use the default directory.

 

            4.  Next Click OK to complete the installation.

 

5.  After you install NetMeeting on Windows 95/98/Me you do not need to configure or setup NetMeeting.  When you start remote control with iClose-Up, iClose-Up will automatically configure and setup NetMeeting for you.  Next read Using Remote Control.
