Installing Remote Control on a Windows NT/2000/XP computer:

If you are using Windows 2000 you can skip this section and read Using Remote Control, because there is no setup of NetMeeting required.  If you are using Windows XP you should read How to Setup Remote Desktop to see the differences between the two different remote control programs (NetMeeting & Remote Desktop) that you can use with iClose-Up if you are using Windows XP.  You would then want to read the section Using Remote Control.  If you are using Windows NT read on.

To have Remote Control with iClose-Up you have to have NetMeeting (version 3.01 or later) installed on both the iClose-Up Client and iClose-Up Server.  You can get NetMeeting (version 3.01 or later) from either Microsoft’s web site (which can be linked to from the Norton-Lambert web site) or from iClose-Up’s CD (Windows 2000/XP comes with NetMeeting version 3.01 or higher.).  You will not need to learn how to use NetMeeting to use Remote Control.  You only need to install it, and configure it to use it with iClose-Up.  Note that the installation and configuration is different between Windows 95/98/Me and Windows NT.
